A Day of Caring event brings the community together while\u00a0demonstrating the power of volunteering. Local businesses partner with United Way of Haldimand and Norfolk to assist in completing projects at United Way funded agencies.<\/span> \u00a0These projects vary depending on the funded agency. They may include construction, restoration, community special events or\u00a0agency work. By providing a team of volunteers, companies help member agencies complete important\u00a0tasks. These tasks fall outside of regular operations for the agencies.<\/p> <\/p> Why should your business participate?<\/u><\/p> The Day of Caring is a unique event. It allows businesses to\u00a0get directly involved in\u00a0their own\u00a0community. These opportunities promote team building, boost morale, and increase your company\u2019s community profile. The\u00a0Day of Caring program connects businesses\u00a0with volunteer opportunities that matter to you and your community.<\/p> United Way of Haldimand and Norfolk organizes Day of Caring events year round, as required.
