Libro Credit Union partners with United Way of Haldimand and Norfolk to give our communities a “LIFT”
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – July 19, 2016
Libro Credit Union (formerly Hald-Nor Credit Union) is pleased to announce their new LIFT initiative – Libro Inspired Financial Teamwork. Now when you choose Libro, and sit down with a Libro Coach, you earn a $25 planning bonus for you and $25 goes towards United Way of Haldimand and Norfolk. Libro Credit Union is committed to making a difference in Haldimand and Norfolk counties. The LIFT program is running now and will be in place until the end of December.
Brittany Burley, Executive Director of United Way of Haldimand and Norfolk, states, “We’re very excited about working together with Libro Credit Union and are thankful to be involved with their LIFT program. We have similar core values and we’re both committed to making positive change in Haldimand and Norfolk. It’s always great to see an organization that recognizes how important it is to give back to the community.”
“The LIFT program embodies Libro’s focus to grow prosperity; new Owners experience Libro financial coaching and set themselves on the path to success, while the United Way receives support to help build strong communities,” says Martin Kihle, Haldimand-Norfolk Regional Manager of Libro Credit Union. “Collaborating with local organizations creates a larger impact on our communities than any one of us can achieve alone, and we’re thrilled to support the United Way through LIFT.”
Libro Credit Union is committed to growing prosperity in southwestern Ontario. In addition to the LIFT program, they offer the Libro Prosperity Fund that focuses on Regional Economic Development, Money Smarts, and Youth Leadership. Libro also provides multiple youth programs and sponsors community events. Libro Credit Union believes that when we work together, everyone prospers!
